Wie geht es euch?

Es hat uns sehr gefreut, dass wir nach unserem letzten Newsletter von einigen von euch gehört haben. Danke für eure Rückmeldungen und Gedanken, das ​ist nicht selbstverständlich...

Wir haben aber auch gelernt, dass sehr viele von euch das SAM Update vom Anfang des Jarhres nicht erhalten haben. Das tut uns leid, da muss es einen ​Fehler in unserer Email gegeben haben.

Jetzt nehmen wir also nochmal Anlauf und hoffen, dass diese SAM-Neuigkeiten euch alle erreichen. Vielleicht könnt ihr uns ja ein kurzes Heads Up geben, ​wenn es ankommt?

Seitdem wir uns auf dem Caravan Salon 2023 kennen gelernt haben, ist nämlich einiges passiert...SAM steht mittlerweile auf ganz eigenen und neuen ​Beinen. Nach langen Überlegungen haben Ingo und ich (Maria) uns nämlich entschieden, dass SAM the Van komplett unter unserer Verantwortung gebaut ​wird. Die Qualität und Materialsauberkeit von allem, was in und an SAM verbaut wird ist uns einfach so wichtig, dass wir die Produktion noch einmal ​aufgerollt haben.

Wir haben zum 01.01.2024 die SAM the Van GmbH gegründet. Schon kurz davor haben wir die Fertigung unseres SAM x IGLHAUT Prototypen nach ​Deutschland verlegt. Und jetzt können wir mit Stolz sagen: SAM the Van wir in Deutschland produziert und auch die für uns gefertigten Zuliefererteile ​kommen aus Deutschland und Österreich.

Nach wie vor ist jeder Aspekt von SAM besser durchdacht: natürlichere, nachhaltigere Materialien und innovativere, funktionalere Ausbauten. SAM the Van ​bietet ein ganz neues Camper-Raumgefühl.

Und wisst ihr, was uns noch ganz arg freut? Wir sind seit ein paar Wochen der offizielle Partner von IGLHAUT Allrad! Sämtliche Arbeiten am Antriebsstrang ​und Fahrwerk von SAM the Van Fahrzeugen übernimmt zukünftig unser Partner IGLHAUT Allrad. Damit haben wir den besten Partner für euch an der Hand, ​den es unserer Meinung nach für Allrad und Offroad Modifikationen gibt. Wir können euch durch die Partnerschaft noch besser Slots bei Iglhaut anbieten ​und die komplette Koordination für euch übernehmen.

Außerdem können wir nun auch die Fahrzeugbeschaffung für euch übernehmen. Damit müsst ihr nicht mehr selbst auf die Suche oder durch den ​Konfigurationsdschungel eines Sprinters gehen. Wir machen das für euch und können euch damit ein Komplettpaket für euren SAM the Van Camper ​anbieten.

SAM kann auf einem Sprinter mit Heckantrieb, Werksallrad oder Iglhaut Allrad Umbau basieren und wir können bei den Fahrzeugbestellungen ​Sonderwünsche berücksichtigen. Vorkonfiguriert haben wir hochwertig ausgestattete Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Für Fahrzeuge mit Heckantrieb liegt die ​Lieferzeit derzeit bei ca. 2 Monaten, bei Werksallrad ist sie wesentlich länger.

Ihr habt Interesse an einem SAM mit Werksallrad? Durch eine Partnerschaft können wir momentan noch ein paar wenige Mercedes-Benz Sprinter mit ​Werksallrad direkt abrufen. Lasst uns wissen, wenn ihr dazu Fragen habt.

Ihr seid zu viert und habt immer gedacht, dass SAM nichts für euch ist? SAM the Van gibt es außerdem mittlerweile als Version SAM+: mit Klappdach und 4 ​Schlafplätzen.

Und wir arbeiten derzeit an einer weiteren SAM-Variante: ein 7m Sprinter für bis zu vier Personen mit einem großzügigeren Aufenthaltsbereich.

So, jetzt haben wir aber genügend Informationen abgeladen…es gäbe noch viel mehr zu erzählen, aber für heute soll es genug sein.

How are you doing?

We were very pleased to hear from some of you after our last newsletter. Thank you for your feedback and thoughts, that's not to be taken for granted...

However, we have also learnt that many of you did not receive the SAM update from the beginning of the year. We're sorry about that, there must have been ​a mistake in our email.

So now we're going to try again and hope that this SAM news reaches you all. Maybe you can give us a quick heads up when it arrives?

A lot has happened since we met at the Caravan Salon 2023... SAM is now standing on its own new feet. After much deliberation, Ingo and I (Maria) have ​decided that SAM the Van will be built entirely under our responsibility. The quality and material cleanliness of everything used in and on SAM is simply so ​important to us that we have rolled up production once again.

We founded SAM the Van GmbH on 01.01.2024. Shortly before that, we moved the production of our SAM x IGLHAUT prototype to Germany. And now we can ​proudly say: SAM the Van is produced in Germany and the supplier parts manufactured for us also come from Germany and Austria.

As ever, every aspect of SAM has been better thought through: more natural, sustainable materials and more innovative, functional fittings. SAM the Van ​offers a whole new feeling of camper space.

And you know what else we're really pleased about? We have been the official partner of IGLHAUT Allrad for a few weeks now! All work on the drivetrain and ​chassis of SAM the Van vehicles will in future be carried out by our partner IGLHAUT Allrad. This means that we have the best partner for you that we think ​there is for all-wheel drive and off-road modifications. Thanks to this partnership, we can offer you even better slots at Iglhaut and take over the complete ​coordination for you.

In addition, we can now also take over the vehicle procurement for you. This means you no longer have to search for a Sprinter yourself or go through the ​configuration jungle. We do this for you and can offer you a complete package for your SAM the Van Camper.

SAM can be based on a Sprinter with rear-wheel drive, factory all-wheel drive or Iglhaut all-wheel drive conversion and we can take special requests into ​account when ordering the vehicle. We have pre-configured high-quality equipped Mercedes-Benz Sprinters. For vehicles with rear-wheel drive, the ​delivery time is currently around 2 months, for factory all-wheel drive it is considerably longer.

Are you interested in a SAM with factory all-wheel drive? Thanks to a partnership, we are currently still able to call up a few Mercedes-Benz Sprinters with ​factory tyres directly. Let us know if you have any questions.

Are there four of you and always thought that SAM wasn't for you? SAM the Van is now also available as a SAM+ version: with a folding roof and 4 sleeping ​berths.

And we are currently working on another SAM version: a 7m Sprinter for up to four people with a more spacious living area.
